Debates about how to properly characterize or label Trumpism are no longer serving productive ends, imo.
What’s incontrovertible, I think, is the fact that Trump gives all his followers permission (encouragement?) to be shit versions (the shittiest version?) of themselves.
The danger to our democracy boils down to that.
