TIL that US doorknobs from the 1940's we're significantly smaller than what we have today. 1 3/4 inch holes vs 2 inch holes. I made a jig for my hole saw to cut a larger hole without having a center to drill thru. I have a feeling I'm going to be using this a lot around the house.
