Hey terraplanists, this proves that the earth is not flat.
If you draw a straight line on a flat map and although this is built to scale, Russia measures more than the width of Africa, but if you measure the actual distance you will see that at the height of the Equator, the distance of east-west longitude is much greater than at the height of the poles.
