I could see SCOTUS weighing in on the matter, more thoroughly defining the nature of the Executive's plenary powers. They would face a difficult task as it would be perilous to simply close the door to any challenge of Executive actions and I doubt that SCOTUS would simply abdicate their responsibility as a check on those powers.
