The Soviet Union was, arguably, defeated by a technology advance the US and allies developed and the Soviets chose to ignore: personal computers and eventually the Internet (post Soviet before it went mainstream).

Putin only has one skill: psychological warfare. That's what he was trained to do.

He knows the PC and Internet finished off the USSR and he's been trying for over a decade to use that technology and his one skill against us.

It worked.
