She was kidnapped in the Jardim Paulista neighborhood and was only released in Taboão da Serra, in the Greater São Paulo area. She was kidnapped by two armed criminals shortly after getting into her car, which was parked on Mexico Street, and they announced the robbery. According to the São Paulo State Public Security Secretariat, while they were with the victim, the criminals tried to make several bank transfers using her cell phone, but were unable to complete the transactions. The criminals then released the woman in Taboão da Serra and fled with the vehicle. In the same city, she went to the police and filed a report. The vehicle was later found and taken to the 37th Police District (Campo Limpo). The Civil Police, through the 78th Police District (Jardins), is investigating the case. The Public Security Secretariat stated that it monitors this type of crime and highlighted that the Civil Police has the Anti-Hijacking Division (DAS) of the Department of Strategic Police Operations (Dope), specialized in investigating and taking specific actions to combat this crime.
