A group of Venezuelan migrants sued the Trump administration in federal court, alleging that the early termination of deportation protections for Venezuelans is illegal, politically motivated, racially biased and part of a broader pattern of discrimination against non-white non-European immigrants. The lawsuit was filed in the state of San Francisco against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. government for revoking Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, for thousands of Venezuelans.
