If we want a justice system that has justice as the product then we will need some sort of civilian oversight of the judiciary to remove those corrupted by their power. A corrupt jidiciary and legal system is as much an attack on democracy as the foreign despots spreading destabilizing disinformation. Treat jucicial corruption the same as other threats to national security.
