If the economy demands credit for growth, and creation of credit ultimately leads to inflation, and inflation negates the gains of economic growth … what was the point again? The S&P500 had been flat aginst M2 since the 1990s.
‘Growth’ is a misnomer.
Credit fuels stupidity not quality. It’s napalm not a sniper.
If anyone has a good book on this — hit me up asap — I am genuinely confused by the political fixation on growth that defines global economic / financial policy which CLEARLY ISN’T WORKING FOR THE MAJORITY … and only points towards increasingly authoritarian control over individuals simply to stop the collective wheels falling off.
Anyway, this rambling post was sponsored by cheap (cheap in terms of $€¥, not in terms of quality) Portuguese coffee.
