A thought for Friday:
In the end, all other ethical considerations need to be built on one clear rule:
Treat others as you would want to (or demand to) be treated yourself.
If we all followed this rule, we would avoid a lot of our troubles....
It might not solve every political issue, but it would get us moving in the right direction.
