Just finished Another Crab's Treasure and it is amazing. It has an epic story and very intense environmental mood swings to match. The default mode is difficult but the developers included the ability to create an easier experience. It is a souls-like game and I could see everywhere they paid tribute to Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Demon Souls, and on and on. They also paid homage to Finding Nemo, SpongeBob SquarePants, and The Little Mermaid (Disney). There are puns, dad jokes, and satire for days along with an underlying but obvious social narrative. The easter eggs are prolific, but easily missed. This game is definitely a multiple play through. The only critique I have is that the platforming is insane, especially in the mid - end game. I hate platforming.

It was really good and will probably be game of the year.
