That’s too hypothetical a scenario to contemplate.
Anything more reasonable or realistic would probably end up re-balancing in relatively short order thanks to something like a Jevon’s paradox.
Of course a decrease so drastic (in a short period of time) would clearly have a massive impact on everything.
