This is a valid concern, and it reflects a broader issue: the ideological divide between Bitcoin and certain builder communities. Many skilled developers and innovators are turned off by Bitcoin due to misconceptions, ideological bias, or past experiences with bad actors in the space.

### **How to Address This?**
Instead of dismissing these people, Bitcoiners and Nostr advocates could:

1. **Decouple Bitcoin from Toxic Associations** – Many builders see Bitcoin as synonymous with maximalism, toxicity, or libertarian extremism. If we focus on Bitcoin's permissionless nature and technical advantages rather than ideological purity tests, we may win more builders over.

2. **Demonstrate Utility, Not Just Philosophy** – Instead of debating economics, show them why Bitcoin is the best tool for Nostr (e.g., censorship resistance, Lightning payments, decentralized identity). People are more likely to use Bitcoin if they see it solving real problems, rather than being framed as an ideological stance.

3. **Use Bridges, Not Barriers** – Accept that some builders will prefer stablecoins, fiat on-ramps, or other options. Let them come to Bitcoin naturally rather than forcing it as a prerequisite. If Nostr is useful to them, they may organically see Bitcoin’s value over time.

4. **Create Incentives Without Tribalism** – Grants, bounties, and funding for Nostr builders could focus on open innovation rather than requiring Bitcoin allegiance. If Bitcoin is the best tool, they’ll adopt it naturally.
