I tested a few methods for developing film that expired 32 years ago and have some thoughts about doing it better:

It was spooled into Agfa Rapid/SL cartridges that hold about 12 full 35mm frames or 24 half-frames. The SL system's design is somewhere in between medium format (when film is spooled from one core to the next) and 110 cassettes (where film is almost completely light-sealed). It's pretty neat.
