Bitcoin doesn’t care. They respect the rules, let them have monkey jpegs which only increase the block size x2, it’s not an exponential increase.
Thanks to them, bitcoiners are rethinking the SegWit discount, and maybe one day (let me dream) we’ll see it removed in favor of CISA.
