Had some weirdness last night. Came home to find my big extension ladder in the ditch. I'd had it leaning against a tall tree my cat would usually get chased up so she could get down easier, 40 feet away.
No neighbor borrowed it b/c they would've put it by the tree at least. I bet some asshole tried to steal it, then realized the rung catch was rusted and frozen in place, so it was too long to drive off with.
Apparently some thefts have started up around here... ugh. Gonna have to be vigilant.
