After 20+ years of wearing Yankee hats,
bitkite (npub1atn…h4x3) upgraded me to the “prototype” bitcoin park hat.
The final version will be much nicer - but this is a historic occasion for me.
Baseball was my life. Never had a father to play catch with but the Yankees were the closest team when I lived up north - so I became a fan.
I learned the game in and out. I’ve watched more games than I can count. I was at the World Series in 2009 / Game 6 when the Yankees won it all. It was surreal.
When my son was old enough for t-ball, we practiced a lot. If I wasn’t on a computer, we were at a field. Ever since then I had a purpose. Give my son the chance that I never had.
My first year managing our little league team we won the championship. After that, travel ball. Then tournaments.
One of my proudest moments was when my son’s team won a National championship for our hometown. He was a starting pitcher & played 3rd base. All that practice paid off.
He learned discipline, teamwork, and gained friends for life. Now he’s playing college baseball & studying to become a teacher.
Then came the free time. My kids are now adults. What’s next?
After finding
BitcoinPark (npub1the…4dha) I stopped watching baseball everyday. I found a new purpose. It’s time for me to help others. This hat represents the next chapter in my life.
