In many ways, I succeeded as a parent. I’ve got 2 in college and one graduated. \n\nBut in other ways, I failed. I didn’t give them enough skepticism to escape misinformation and snake oil sales. \n\nAnd the fear, which is part reality, is that these things can happen without your knowledge. In the olden days you could keep tabs on who your kids hung out with. Now the “bad kids” are everywhere all at once.",
