It sounds like you have shitcoin PTSD and don’t know anything about Monero other than “it’s not Bitcoin so it’s a shitcoin”.
Even if you don’t like Monero it is good for being a bar for what good privacy should be on Bitcoin even in terms of layers. Until a bitcoin layer can provide better privacy then Monero it is not a shitcoin because it has a real use case.
If you have not read the Cypherpunk Manifesto it makes it clear how important financial privacy is in a digital world.
