Stumbled on this in my photo sorting and culling marathon. A bench we made years ago from greenwood after clearance work on an overgrown woodland path. Being green and untreated it had a finite life - a comfortable garden seat for a few years, then an unstable garden ornament and finally a crumbling home for invertebrates.
