There are so many Instagram/YouTube/TikTok #gardening channels that recommend using free wooden pallets to make compost and vegetable containers and rarely do they mention you should find kiln-dried (heat treated) and not pressure-treated otherwise you’re going to be eating formaldehyde. Same goes for furniture.
