IIRC the North Atlantic Treaty doesn't allow for admission of new members during ongoing conflicts, because that would trigger Article Five (and drag NATO into the war).
The treaty *could* be revised, but it'd need unanimity among NATO (and I don't see Hungary under Orban saying "yes"—they're quite pro-Putin).
