This was extremely helpful in getting a sense of how people are funding Mastodon servers at different scales. Lots of great information in the thread.
It's clear though, that most/all of these are community driven and funded. Which is great, but it doesn't seem like any are able to make a sustainable business out of it. It's all volunteers and donations for costs. Does anyone know of companies doing this with the Fediverse (not just Mastodon)? Again, boosts appreciated.
