And apparently, there’s a standard format, and if you don’t follow it, recruiters have a tough time parsing your resume into the system. None of them care how pretty your resume looks. They just want the text, so they can scan it into their system. No one sees any additional information you add, like open source projects, bibliography, etc. because the systems don’t know how to parse that info.
