This image of Pavel Durov (Telegram founder) was released in 2011, as a response to the Russian Government that asked him to shut down the acocunts of anti-government figures.
In 2014 he left russia, after he was once again asked to comply with the Government. He then escaped to the "free" western world.
In both of these instances his actions were applauded by western media.
He was arrested yesterday in that same "free" western world by french authorities for the same "crime" he committed in Russia: Enabling uncensored free speech.
This is as absurd as if they tried to put the CEO of Toyota in jail, because the Taliban drive around in Toyota Hiluxes...
