Something I witnessed last night—often observed, but especially egregious—makes me feel like I need to beg open-letter style.
Fellas: When you’re on a date, please ask questions. And follow-up questions. Then listen. With no intent beyond learning more about someone and their knowledge/experiences/opinions. Without the purpose of steering it back to yourself.
Because if you can’t see eyes glazing over while you monologue, I’m here to tell you eyes are glazing over. This is not a good date.
