there is something to be said about how a lot of traditional science fiction really just plays out ‘ethical’ colonization fantasies . i think it’s a wonderful genre , but , like , everyone misses the point of Everything (a la torment nexus) & there are a bunch of waow ideas that are actually not really good ideas i think
