Say what you will about the US government, but at least is it pretty easy to:
1. Find out who is elected, how they were elected, where they’re from
2. Generally find media coverage about federal laws being proposed
The more I read about the #EU and things like #ChatControl, the more I wonder how Europeans can accept this technocratic system that seems (almost?) intentionally designed mainly to shield national governments from the blame of their own bad decision-making.
