"content": "#Slackware has been my main Linux driver from 2003 until 2010, but I eventually abandoned it out of frustration - Patrick's benevolent-dictator-for-life approach, combined with his \"I only include the packages that I like\" approach, his \"I don't need a package manager, therefore nobody needs it\" approach, and his \"a new release will be ready only when I have enough time and I decide that it's ready\" approach, gave me the impression that I was using some random dude's side project as my main driver.\n\nAre there any reasons why someone would still want to use it in 2024?",
