I do also accept that LLMs will likely replace a lot of tasks that require a programmer today, where being able to ask a chatbot in natural language will produce the desired result. Right now, there's a huge gap in LLMs predictive ability matching up with math, sorting, list processing. I find myself turning to ChatGPT 4 all the time to ask a loose question and get a result I can follow up on. It’s far easier than Google at getting me quickly to something definitive.
