Will Thames Water be (temporarily) renationalised to avoid its debt-induced crisis leading to collapse?
To try and avert disaster, Rishi Sunak has deployed his aide (ex-Morgan Stanley banker) Franck Petitgas, to mediate between TW, its owners & OfWat to find a solution to the crisis.
I'd like to say that this looks like a good move, but the combination of an investment banker & Sunak's judgement/luck look like a recipe for failure;
who knows perhaps they'll pull something out of the bag?
