Platforms are requiring proof of government identity, not "real-life identity". In "real life" (maybe meat space or embodied/physical life, since what we do on internet is also real) you can still use a nym, nickname or professional name, as many artists do.
I just think we should not mistake "real-life identity" for government/legal identity. Those are different. The government has no right to tell anyone who they are.
