#WritersCoffeeClub 10 Jan Have you ever given a talk about your work? Would you?
For my nonfiction book I gave talks all over the place, in libraries, schools, community centres, bookshops, at council events, on TV, once in a pie shop, and once at a union meeting in an Indian restaurant. I loved it! It was really good practice at public speaking and just so interesting to meet people in these different settings.
