There's a lot to say there, especially concerning ones privacy. I'm not saying there would never be a reason to do so only if a justifiable reason can be proven and testified in court; but now with the vague claim of "reasons for safety" and the only guide being "we'll only do so when we "need" to" isn't really satisfying or trust worthy.
