#WritersCoffeeClub 11: dream sequences:
Can be effective if done well. Eg try to ensure the reader knows that it *is* a dream; otherwise they may feel cheated, tricked into investing in something unreal.
From my current work:
"They were glorious dreams, all of them, right up until the end. Dreams of endless green and gold forests, vast oceans plowed by tall sailing ships, lords and ladies dancing and whirling in marble halls slung with chandeliers like constellations of candles…"
