In the tradition of teenage girls everywhere, my 14yo colored her fingernails black with a marker.
Which anyone who knows this, knows that they are not even remotely permanent. They're water based. Washable.
So now she has smears of black marker all over her face, arms, hands... and parts of my house.
I have (WITHOUT LAUGHING) informed her that next time she should just ask us to get her nail polish.
