That is mind boggling riding around the world on a penny-farthing in the 1880s! I worked in the bicycle industry decades ago \u0026 have ridden just about every type of bike made, but I never had a chance to ride a penny-farthing. :( However, I can image the maintenance challenge riding one long distances would pose. Riding one through the tunnels \u0026 snowsheds over Donner when there were tracks in there is just nuts.",
