There is a website describing what Google wants you to do to accept mails. You'll need SPF and correct DNS settings as a minimum. DKIM is recommended. All these things will enhance your score. You get a link in their SMTP response.
Microsoft on the other hand won't accept email unless you register your mail server on their website. It's annoying, but it's quick.
