I learned how to use npm link to install a node module from a git repo. Also, since the main branch is for Eleventy 3.0 which uses ES modules, I needed to follow the upgrade instructions at https://www.11ty.dev/blog/canary-eleventy-v3/ to change the require to an import.
https://sachachua.com/blog "Skip to content" and "Footer" links should work again, so things should be a little nicer in M-x eww. Thanks to https://emacs.ch/@mms/111852072685949270 for the nudge!
