When I highlight discrepancies in the New Testament my intended audience is believers who insist on reconciling the narratives. For instance, if Jesus rode into Jerusalem on one donkey in Mark, but on both a donkey and a colt in Matthew, then they tell us the account with two animals "wins" and Mark just neglected to mention the colt.
