PROBLEM: I need to block IPs DDOSing us with expensive queries to Apache 2.4 serving some PHP with mod_fpm.
mod_evasive would be perfect, except it doesn't work with X-Forwarded-For.
Suggestions?
(no, "use nginx" or similar is not a happener here)
