Be always online is beneficial, but not necessary. I believe we can do the communication asynchronous via nostr.
And SettleUp is great too. Small difference would be that SettleUp works primarily with groups and here I think is better to use primary p2p connections and in later stage build potentially even not visible groups that operate channel factories..
