I do nothing but write in my work life, but it is a process of synthesis, not creativity. For reasons I am not going to explain, I ended up in a job I never liked. It pays the bills.
Poetry is the creative, expressive me, for what that is worth. I needed to do... "something."
I know dyslexics who find benefit from changing the background colour. One colleague prints everything onto pink paper. Have you tried anything similar?
