George Washington was a fraud. He would have been nothing if not for his four inhertiances, his black taylor, and his silver tongue. The man lead his men onto defeat, one battle after another. He swindeled the surviving soldiers of their promised lands, conspired with Adams, Jefferson and Franklin in a coup against the confederation's continental congress, and inherited again the newly centralized government's most powerful position.
Don't even get me started on Franklin.
