The world needs better mapping tools for simple sketching of "pirate maps." If you know of one, I would be very grateful right now to also know about it.
QGIS 🙅♀️ (crashes doing simple things)
Google Earth 🙅♀️ (seventy clicks to do one thing)
ArcGIS 🤑 (expensive)
Gaia 😖 (layer management is ... not fun)
Google My Maps isn't terrible, so that's what I'm using for now, but it's layer capabilities are fairly minimal. Any other pointers would be amazing. 🙏
