I actually spoke to somebody, on the road, that had one of those Sondors bikes a year or two ago.
They thought it was pretty cool; but poking very briefly into their use case it was "I drive like 50 miles _a week_ to and from work, total"... which is conveniently about how far you could go on that thing if you ran it full bore.
I might be misremembering its range.
Either way, I looked at it and felt kinda sad.
