My neighborhood is nearly bug free this summer. More than creepy, it is frightening.
I have a wall of scarlet runner beans in bloom, thousands of flowers...and about a dozen beans pollinated and set.
Southern Ontario, small town surrounded by farms. Recent article in local paper about how apiaries are about gone in the region. Haven't seen a honey bee in two years here.
