NEW: Highland City Club’s Sina Simantob sides with European Neo-Nazis

The Highland City Club’s weekly newsletters, authored by Sina himself, regularly feature bigoted rants. As one columnist pointed out in Boulder Weekly, Sina dedicated an entire 2019 newsletter to affirming and defending his belief in racial stereotypes. His central argument? That avoiding ethnic and religious minorities based on these stereotypes for self-serving purposes is “smart” and therefore…not racist.
In a recent Highland City Club newsletter, Sina argues that Muslims have secret plans to take over democracies and defends the race riots that ravaged Europe last month.
The Highland City Club is set to host a private meeting with Boulder's new controversial Chief of Police this week. Chief Redfearn played a role in covering up Elijah McClain's killing when he worked at the Aurora Police Department.
