The robins and varied thrushes here are bad at glass detection so we have iridescent stickers on our unscreened windows to keep them alive—we use the ring-and-circle ones and a *lot* of them per window and they've zeroed out strikes on every window they're on.
Unexpected side benefit: The local hummingbirds like to zoom up examine them, so every day now the same crew of teeny warlords comes up very close and peers in through the windows behind my computer.
