There was a meta-study (I have lost the reference) that showed people tended to go about 1.4x longer for "standard detour" on road travel vs a straight line between points
Using the tested range of your e-scooter/bike, you do this
radius=range*(1/1.4)
That radius can be used to draw a circle in Google Earth and you'll have the points you can reach on your device. apx
Halve the radius and you'll have the points you could go to and come back from. apx
